To make your stay with us as pleasant as possible, we have put together the most important information about your visit to Hotel Berlin Leipzig, from A to Z.

A

Arrival / check-in

Your room is available to you from 2:00 pm on the day of arrival.

An earlier arrival from 11:00 am is possible, subject to availability, for a surcharge of €25.00.

If you arrive outside our reception hours, a late arrival via our key safe is possible after prior arrangement.

Accessibility

Our hotel currently does not have any fully wheelchair-accessible rooms.

Both hotel entrances can be reached via a few steps. One of the entrances also has a ramp.

If you have limited mobility, please feel free to contact us before your arrival. We will then inform you personally about the conditions on site.

Allergy rooms

Pet-hair-free rooms are available for guests with allergies. Please let us know your request, ideally already when booking or before your arrival.

Our duvets and pillows are feather-free.

Lift

Our lift goes up to the 5th floor.

Bar

Our hotel bar in the reception area is currently only available on a limited basis.

As an alternative, a drinks fridge – our honesty bar – is available in our courtyard. You can help yourself there every day.

Please note all drinks taken in the book provided for this purpose. Billing takes place when you check out.

City tax

Since 1 April 2023, the city of Leipzig has levied a city tax as a local expenditure tax.

Please understand that we are legally obliged to collect this tax from our guests.

The city tax applies regardless of the purpose of the stay and is therefore also charged for business-related overnight stays.

It amounts to 5% of the overnight price.

Iron

You are welcome to borrow an iron at our reception.

In case of fire & fire extinguishers

In the event of a fire, please leave the building immediately via the marked emergency exits.

The assembly point is located on the opposite side of the street from the hotel.

Fire extinguishers can be found on every floor as well as in the public areas.

The escape and rescue plans are located in the hotel corridors.

Letters & post

You are welcome to hand in your outgoing mail at our reception. We will take care of sending it for you.

Incoming mail will be kept for you at reception.

Stamps are available at our reception for €0.95 each.

Postcards can be purchased for €0.70 each.

Departure / check-out

On the day of departure, we ask you to vacate your room by 11:00 am.

A later check-out is possible, subject to availability, for a surcharge of €15.00.

If you leave the hotel before the reception opens, you can simply leave your room key card in the room or drop it in our letter box.

Printing

We are happy to print tickets, travel documents or other documents for you. We charge €0.30 per page for this.

Electric car / charging station

There is no charging station directly at the hotel.

However, a public charging option for electric vehicles is around a 3-minute walk away.

Shopping

There is a REWE supermarket on Riebeckstraße, which is a convenient place to get groceries and everyday items.

Bicycles

You are welcome to store your own bicycles in our courtyard.

In addition, two bicycles are available for our guests to borrow. Please speak to our reception team if you are interested.

Tickets for public transport

Tickets for bus and tram are partly available at our reception.

Further tickets are available directly from Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe (LVB) as well as from the ticket machines at the stops.

Our reception team will be happy to help you with questions about the right connections and tickets.

TV

Our TVs have 47 TV channels as well as a radio function with 30 radio stations and an alarm function.

Hairdryer

A hairdryer is available in your room.

Breakfast

We offer breakfast at the following times:

Monday to Friday: 6:30–10:00 am
Saturday, Sunday & public holidays: 7:30–10:30 am

For our hotel guests, breakfast costs €14.00 per person.

For children up to and including 10 years old, we charge €8.50.

Guests from outside the hotel are also warmly welcome to breakfast. For external breakfast guests, we charge €16.00 per person.

Hotel guests can also add breakfast on a daily basis. Please let our reception team know, ideally the evening before.

We are happy to offer vegan, lactose-free and gluten-free breakfast options. Please let us know in good time.

Breakfast to go / packed lunch

We are happy to prepare breakfast to go or a packed lunch for you.

The price is €14.00 per person.

Lost property

If you notice during or after your stay that you have lost or forgotten something with us, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.

We are happy to send found items to you on request. We charge a flat fee of €15.00 for shipping.

Luggage

You are welcome to leave your luggage at our reception on the day of arrival or departure, after prior arrangement.

Drinks

Drinks are available from our honesty bar in the courtyard. You can help yourself there every day. Please note the drinks taken in the book provided.

Billing takes place when you check out.

Dogs

Dogs are always very welcome with us.

We charge €10.00 per night for your four-legged friend.

We provide a dog basket, a bowl and a blanket for your dog.

There is a small meadow just around the corner for a short walk.

I

Courtyard

Our courtyard invites you to linger and relax.

You can use the courtyard daily from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm.

From 10:00 pm, we ask you to observe night-time quiet out of consideration for our other guests.

Internet / WiFi

Our WiFi is available to you free of charge throughout your stay.

You will receive the current access details on arrival.

Coffee & tea station

On request, you can add a coffee and tea station to your room for €8.00 per night and room.

Children

Children up to and including 5 years old stay free of charge in their parents' bed.

An additional extra bed is possible, subject to availability, for €10.00 per night.

Children's chair

Baby and children's chairs are available for our little guests at breakfast.

Pillows & extra blankets

If you need an extra pillow or an additional blanket, please speak to our reception team.

Magazines and the current daily newspaper are available for you to read at our reception.

Minibar / fridge

A small fridge is available in your room.

It is not stocked with drinks. Drinks are available from our honesty bar in the courtyard.

Night-time quiet

Out of consideration for our other guests, we ask you to keep the volume in your room reasonable, especially during the night hours.

In the courtyard, we ask you to observe night-time quiet from 10:00 pm.

The nearest stop is Riebeck-/Oststraße and is only a few minutes' walk from our hotel.

Parking

You can park free of charge directly at our building.

Further free parking options can be found in the surrounding side streets. Please observe the respective signage on site.

Smoking

Smoking is only permitted outdoors.

Smoking is not permitted in the rooms or in the indoor areas of the hotel.

If this is not observed, we charge a flat fee of €60.00 for the special cleaning required.

Invoice

Your invoice will be sent to you by email.

If you need a company invoice, please let us know your full billing address and the desired email address in good time.

Umbrellas

You are welcome to borrow an umbrella at our reception.

Please leave a deposit of €10.00 per umbrella.

Your room key card opens both the hotel's side entrance and your own room door.

Please carry your room key card with you, especially if you return to the hotel outside our reception hours.

Room cleaning

Your room is cleaned as needed.

You will find the corresponding signs in your room. If you would like your room cleaned, please use the sign provided for this purpose.

Extra bed

An extra bed is possible, subject to availability, for €10.00 per night.
