Short stay Leipzig with panometer visit
With *"THE CATHEDRAL OF MONET - The Liberation of Painting,"* Yadegar Asisi explores new paths in his overall work: for the first time, a panorama measuring 6 x 2 meters was painted in oil on canvas in his Berlin studio before being high-resolution digitized, printed, and ultimately installed as a 360° exhibit in the Panometer.
Through the panorama, the artist invites you on a picturesque journey to the French city of Rouen at the end of the 19th century. The focus is on the impressive Notre Dame Cathedral, immortalized in a rich play of exceptional color nuances, shades, and light effects. In the square in front of it and in the city's alleys, many contemporaries of the era, such as Claude Monet, Vincent Van Gogh, and Auguste Renoir, can be found.
